Stainless steel steamer basket and trivet set

Checked 2026-10-28

This accessory set is designed to expand the capabilities of existing six and eight quart multi-cookers. It includes a stainless steel steamer basket and a trivet with long handles. These tools allow for tiered cooking, where you can steam vegetables or fish above a liquid or another layer of food being prepared in the bottom of the pot.

The steamer basket features small holes to allow steam to circulate evenly around the food while keeping smaller items from falling through. The long-handled trivet makes it safer and easier to lift hot inserts out of the deep inner pot after the cooking cycle is complete. Both pieces are made from food-grade stainless steel for long-term use.

These components are dishwasher safe, which simplifies the cleanup process after a meal. By using these inserts, you can prepare multiple parts of a dish simultaneously, such as steaming broccoli while rice cooks below. This set is a practical addition for those who want to use their pressure cooker for more complex or healthy recipes.
